Russia’s “War on Terror”

When #Russia invaded #Crimea in 2014, they imposed a ban on 300 Islamic books and audio-visual materials.

The security services in Crimea carried out searches that included many Islamic cultural and educational centers and mosques in Crimea in search of prohibited materials with the aim of confiscating them, under the pretext that they are materials that incite extremism and terrorism.

Among the prohibited materials include Riyad Al-Salihin, Al-Nawawi’s Forty, The Sealed Nectar and Fortress of the Muslim.
